How to Participate

Purchase a $5 passport from any of the participating shops and start hopping! Bring your passport with you to each shop and collect all 5 stickers. Once you visit all 5 shops during the event dates, you can fill out a completion form for a chance to win prizes!

Passports are limited to one per person and nontransferable. And we recommend writing your name in it!

What to expect!

Come to each shop ready to have fun! We'll have refreshments waiting for you and you'll receive a freebie with a purchase (not including purchase of passport).

Blocks, Quilts, and Projects!

Each shop will be selling a unique Bird Block Kit, Bonus Project Kit, and a curated Finishing Kit, so you can craft the perfect falltime project.

Purchase 5 Blocks Sets (5 shops) and a Finishing Kit to end up with at least a 60"x60" quilt top. Backing is not included in Finishing Kits, so we recommend snagging one during the Shop Hop!

All of the bonus project patterns are included in the passport. Shops will be selling bonus project kits to go with these exclusive, complimentary patterns!

Prize Drawings

Visit all 5 shops during the event to enter for a chance to win! Winners will be drawn randomly from the completion forms on Monday, September 28. Winners will be called, emailed, and posted in the Northside Shop Hop Facebook Group! Must be 18 or older to win Grand Prize (retreat package). Must be 15+ to win 2nd or 3rd prize. Do I have to purchase a passport to participate?

Yes, your passport is how you will verify which shops you have visited! You can purchase a passport at any of the participating shops (available now!). After visiting all 5 shops, you can fill out a completion form for a chance to win prizes!

Your professionally printed passport is yours to keep after the event as a souvenir and reference so you can plan future visits to your favorite shops!

What happens if I forget my passport?

We get it! It happens! If you forget your passport, you can get a provisional one at your next shop. You will need to show the actual and provisional passports at your final shop to be entered into the prize drawings.

Make your passport identifiable by writing your name and contact info in it too!

Can kids participate in the Shop Hop?

Absolutely! We love inspiring the next generation of quilters and creatives. Kids will need their own passport for the shop hop journey. Kids that complete the Shop Hop are eligible to enter for our special Kids Prize Drawing (listed above).

Kids aged 15+ are eligible to enter for the 2nd and 3rd Shop Hop prize drawings! Must be 18 or older to win Grand Prize (retreat package).

Will Blocks and Finishing Kits be available for purchase after the event?

It depends! If a shop has not sold out of their Blocks, Projects, and Finishing kits, they can opt to continue selling it after the Shop Hop event (starting November 1, 2026), either online or over the phone at individual shops' discretion.

Please keep in mind that it is very likely that kits sell out, so if you see something you like, don't bank that it will be available later!
